Product Description

The United Instruments Altimeter A84 is designed for use in an aircraft to help the pilot determine altitude, the height above a reference point. The A84 measures existing atmospheric pressure, which varies with altitude. This specific unit has a milibar range in and 20K for the range out. The Altimeter displays altitude in feet with a three-pointer dial and a barber pole stripe reminder for altitudes below 16,000 feet. The barometric pressure setting window is at a 3 o'clock position with setting a knob at 7 o'clock.
