Sigma-Tek Vacuum Directional Gyro 4000B-8. Sigma Tek directional gyros 1U262-001-9 are selected as standard equipment by aircraft manufacturers worldwide. The Sigma-Tek Vacuum Directional Gyro 4000B-8 is an air-operated heading indicator displays compass headings throughout 360 degrees. Functions during dives, climbs or banks up to 55 degrees displacement from level flight. Reset gyro to magnetic compass with caging knob. The 4000B-8 has a White display, with optional lighting for this specific model.
