RC Allen 3 Inch Turn Coordinator RCA83A-11. RC Allen produces many fine quality instruments; their Turn Coordinators can be found in many production aircraft around the world. The RCA83A-11 model contains an electrically driven gyroscope which is supported in a gimbal inclined to the horizon so that the instrument senses roll as well as yaw. The inclinometer, by movement of a ball in relation to the lubber lines, indicates the slip angle of aircraft while in a turn. This RC Allen 3 Inch Turn Coordinator RCA83A-11 is a LIGHTED all-volt instrument that works from 11 to 30VDC. The turn motion is presented by an airplane symbol banking on a fixed horizon with a power warning flag. Can also be purchased as a NON-LIGHTED version.
